Regarding Major and Minor Applications

Students who wish to apply for a double major program within the departments of our faculty must obtain the approval of their departmental double major advisor and the Department Chair. Subsequently, they are required to apply to the department in which they wish to pursue the double major, along with their transcripts: (https://fas.boun.edu.tr/tr/formlar/ogrenci-formlari).

 If the intended double major program is within a department of another faculty, students must obtain the approvals of the double major advisors and Department Chairs from both faculties. Following this, applications must be submitted to both faculties, accompanied by the students' transcripts: (https://fas.boun.edu.tr/tr/formlar/ogrenci-formlari).

Students applying for a minor program must obtain approval from the Department Chair and the Minor Advisor of the department to which they are applying for the minor program (approval can be obtained through written or email communication with the departments). Afterward, they must complete the Minor Program Application Form (https://fas.boun.edu.tr/tr/formlar/ogrenci-formlari) and submit their application documents, including their transcripts, to the department in which they are applying for the minor.
