Kaya Genç

Kaya Genç graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in film in 2004. He completed his MA in English Literature at the University of Amsterdam in 2005 and his PhD in English Literature at Istanbul University in 2012. His work focuses on Victorian literature, contemporary British fiction, and literary criticism. His books include Under the Shadow, The Lion and the Nightingale, and Şehir. His writing has appeared in publications including The Times Literary Supplement, The New York Review of Books, and Los Angeles Review of Books. He has also translated works by Philip Roth, Herman Melville, Oscar Wilde, and Terry Eagleton into Turkish.
