We Mourn the Loss of Cihan Özkan

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Cihan Özkan, a 2014 undergraduate and 2019 graduate alumnus of our department. His legacy of a life filled with art will always be remembered. His passion for literature led him to translate Collin Williams’ The Outsider (1956) into Turkish, leaving an lasting mark on the literary world. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones and pray for his peace.
